More about the event:
What Is Plandipity Doer’s Day?
Plandipity Doers Day is an annual celebration for entrepreneurs who believe success is built with intention.
Every September 10, we set aside time to pause, reflect on how far we've come, create a plan for what's next, connect with others who understand the journey, and celebrate every step forward.
It's a reminder that growth doesn't happen by accident. It happens one intentional decision, one meaningful connection, and one courageous step at a time.
Whether you celebrate quietly on your own, with your local community, or by joining us for our annual flagship event, National Plandipity Doers Day is an invitation to stop waiting for the "perfect time" and start celebrating the business—and the life—you are building.

Plan Together
Build a Business That Grows on Purpose
The CEO Sales Ecosystem with Connie Kercher
Stop relying on referrals, luck, or inconsistent marketing to bring in your next client.
In this interactive workshop, Connie Kercher will help you look at your business through a CEO lens and build a more intentional, repeatable path for attracting the right people, turning opportunities into paying clients, and creating an experience that keeps clients coming back.
You’ll explore how the pieces of your business work together—from visibility and partnerships to sales conversations, follow-up, retention, and referrals—so growth doesn’t depend on constantly chasing the next opportunity.
You’ll walk away with practical strategies and a customized roadmap to help you:
- Attract more of the right clients with stronger visibility, referral, and partnership strategies
- Sell with more confidence using conversations focused on value instead of pressure
- Create an experience people want to return to with intentional follow-up and client touchpoints
- Think and lead like a CEO by focusing on the activities, systems, and numbers that actually drive revenue
Because predictable growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about building the right systems and following through consistently.

Connect with Confidence
Speed Networking
Plandipity Doers Style
Forget awkward small talk and collecting business cards you’ll never look at again.
This is speed networking with a Plandipity twist. Using our signature Connection Sparks™, you’ll move beyond the typical “What do you do?” and have guided conversations that make it easier to connect, discover common ground, and actually remember the people you meet.
You’ll meet fellow business owners, exchange ideas, uncover opportunities to collaborate and refer one another, and build relationships that can continue long after Plandipity Doers Day is over.
No perfect elevator pitch required. Just come ready to connect, be curious, and meet some really good people.
Because business is better in community.

Celebrate Your Wins
End the Day on a High Note
Doer Celebration + Optional Happy Hour
Success deserves to be celebrated, not just when you reach the finish line, but for every step that moves you forward.
We’ll wrap up Plandipity Doers Day by coming together one more time to celebrate the connections we’ve made, the ideas we’re taking with us, and the progress we’re ready to make.
Then, if you’re not quite ready for the day to end, join us for an optional happy hour and keep the conversations, connections, and celebration going.
The Story Behind the Day
Long before Plandipity Doers existed, there was another dream. One that belonged to my mom.
My mom was an artist in every sense of the word. She was endlessly creative and never seemed to run out of ideas. Growing up, I watched her try just about every artistic medium you could imagine. She made pottery, blew the yolks out of eggs so she could paint the shells, pressed flowers in books before decoupaging them onto treasures, experimented in the kitchen making everything from wedding cakes to homemade Kahlúa, and once even painted an entire mural on a white brick wall using nail polish. If it could be created, she wanted to try it.
But her biggest dream wasn't creating art—it was creating opportunity.
After earning her GED and going back to college to study business, she began developing a vision for a brick-and-mortar collective where artisans could build successful businesses doing what they loved. She imagined more than a place to sell handmade products. She envisioned a community where makers could access tools, resources, education, encouragement, and support year-round. She believed talented artists deserved more than waiting for the next craft fair—they deserved a real chance to build profitable, sustainable businesses around their creativity.
She passed away before she could bring that dream to life, but the dream never disappeared.
Years later, as I built More Than Serendipity and eventually the Plandipity Doers Collective, I realized I wasn't creating something entirely new—I was carrying her dream forward.
Today the vision looks different. Instead of a physical collective for artisans, we've built a community for entrepreneurs. Instead of helping makers sell handcrafted products, we help business owners build stronger businesses through education, accountability, collaboration, and meaningful connections. The format changed, but the heart of the dream stayed exactly the same: helping people succeed by giving them the community and support they deserve.
National Plandipity Doers Day is one expression of that dream. It's a day to pause, create a plan, connect with others, and celebrate your progress. It's proof that dreams don't have to end with one person. Sometimes they simply evolve, finding new life in the next generation.
